“Live significantly!” That’s the inspiring message of Sharon Norris Elliott, award-winning author, popular international conference speaker, licensed minister, and astute Bible teacher. Author of 11 books to date, Sharon is also a professional editor and coach associated with ACE (Academy of Christian Editors), several royalty publishing houses, and she is also the CEO of her own service, AuthorizeMe®. Sharon is honored to teach and preach the Word at conferences, in church services, and on her Life That Matters TV show broadcasting on HSBN.tv, KiTV, CWWN.tv (the new Christian Women’s Word Network), and Spotify. She also masterfully assists others in furthering their ministry goals by directing her clients with their brand discovery and articulation; by consulting her clients as they finalize ideas for books, polish talks, and perfect presentations; and by representing her clients as a literary agent.
Sharon is proof that, just as something good came out of Nazareth, something good came straight out of Compton and Los Angeles, California, in her. As the youngest daughter of Rev. Vincent and Nancy Norris, and a PK (pastor’s kid), she has served in church since she was a toddler, and fully recognized her life commitment to Christian service at age 18. She graduated from Los Angeles High, then received her bachelor of arts degree in Liberal Studies upon her graduation from Biola University. In 2013, she was licensed into the ministry by her pastor, Rev. Welton Pleasant II. Then in 2018, her honorary doctor of divinity degree and ordination were conferred upon her from HSBN School of Ministry and International Fellowship of Ministries Apostolic Center. She has enjoyed a distinguished 35-year career as an educator, currently teaching English and writing at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, CA. Sharon and her husband are active members of Christ Second Baptist Church in Long Beach, CA, have been blessed with 5 children and 6 grand-children, and are currently enjoying them from their empty nest in South Gate, CA.
